They possibly went wrong when trying to become a 70s/80s-influenced rock band (at least that's how they presented themselves on their website, whoever was behind that idea), although I never truly heard it in Without Feathers except perhaps on In the Beginning. The last two albums are still solid ones but LWBYH seemed to have a whole post-apocalypic/miserable feel to it that was consistent. I reckon that it's the attempted collaboration between Tim and Dave's ideas 'that is behind this lack of consistency in the albums.

Love both Logic and Oceans though I think Oceans wins out for Snakecharming, Hands on Fire, etc. But try as I may I still can't get into WF. :/ I think I just like TIm's songs better (and his vocals)...

Logic Will Break Your Heart has truly stood the test of time, it just gets better and better with each listen. I like the other two a lot, don't get me wrong, but that debut is amazing.
