Lover wasn't to random at all, it's just one of the albums that you have to be in the right 'mood' for. I enjoy Lover... when I'm in the mood for it. And it's really good when you consider it as a standalone (say TSOAF hadn't released Tiger & Duke or the Ocean and the Sun.) Of course it's going to seem 'worse' when it's compared to the other two, because the other two were just absolutely beautiful and the songs had a better flow.

I agree with shit_outta_luck. I didn't enjoy Lover as much as the other albums, it just didn't sit right with me. They did a little to much experimentation with it and I wasn't a big fan of some of the randomness of it. The Tiger and The Duke was absolutely amazing and The Ocean and the Sun was almost just as good. However, the best thing they released was their live DVD, I enjoyed it all except for the song where they included Keith Goodwin. I just think his voice didn't fit the song he was in.

It's the top track because it's a free download. People download it and listen to it. It's a really bad representation of TSOAF though, so I'm disappointed.

@omgkelly and smarthomas, try listening to them a little more. The more you listen to the music, especially in Lover and The Ocean and the Sun, the more you notice little subtle things that really surprise you. This band was incredibly talented, intelligent, and beautiful
