@thR_enody first thing that comes to mind is Deerhoof. They are generally a LOT less depressive and a lot more experimental than this album but they have quite a few synth-y tracks and have the same shoegaze-influenced origins. While I am here, Deerhunter's Mircocastle is another good option and as with anything Pumpkins My Bloody Valentine's Loveless should go without saying. Any other suggestions? my tastes are fairly limited!

everyone thought that it's almost impossible they could do something better than the legendary Mellon Collie album. ever since the released this album, everyone is in major debate which one is their best work.

I've never heard anything quite like 'Adore' before, and I doubt I ever will. Not better than Siamese Dream in my opinion, but it has some incredibly beautiful moments of near-perfection.
