i saw them back in 06 on the dresden dolls tour. i loved their set just as much as the dolls', and trash had a nice heckle-back to some heckler in the crowd. i'd kill to hear more from them.

Well yeah, his voice sounds kind of like Billy Corgan's, but that's no basis for calling them a copy of the pumpkins. I fail to hear the Pumpkins influence in most 90% of their music. His vocal style sometimes emulates Thom Yorke, but you can't say they're a bad copy of Radiohead. That said, it's difficult to be an alternative rock band in this decade without being slightly influenced by The Smashing Pumpkins or Radiohead.
