If Tom is the driving force dosn't mean he's the only person in the band that matters, they are all very talented. Of course Tom can't lay down Zack's vocals or Brad's drumming, but to me Tom has always been more active in the band, political and musical.

"The Nightwatchman shows once again that Tom Morello was the driving force of Rage Against the Machine." I totally disagree with that statement. Each member is equally important to their overall sound. Zack's hip-hop lyrical styling, Tim C's funk bass, Brad's fantastic drumming, and of course Tom's "sonic guitar on pcp" personal brand of play.

I woudln't say that Morello was the driving force for RATM at all. I am a massive fan of Rage and this but you cant just put down the success to one person as they all fit perfectly together.
