No, there are songs that are kinda sad but the artist is so good I can’t help but be happy when one of his songs comes on

Can’t remember must of been a really long time ago
I remember my aunt playing some tracks one day
& it must have been a really long time ago cos at the time she was baby sitting me
What was the first song you heard by 1?
I think my Dad would play their songs occasionally but my first memory was on the 17 of October when he put on the compilation: Louder Than Bombs & telling me these guys were the kings of emo. Because my sister was there at the time & we were talking about emos. Then the song Is It Really So Strange came on & I immediately stopped talking & then was inserted into some kinda trance. At the time I must have been thinking How have I not heard of these guys before? They’re Great! But they sound so familiar… After that I took the album & listened to the whole thing almost every night. (Yeah looks like we’ve got a die-hard Smiths fan here)

Driving down my hometown with my Dad & having one of their compilation albums play in the middle of spring when the trees have flowers.

No but the song Atmosphere depresses some people while it kinda makes me happy.
