Weird story: Way before I ever heard this song, my mom was talking to me about how I would talk in my sleep when I was very young, and mentioned that one night she heard me saying, "Come on baby, light my fire!" I didn't know what that meant then, but you can imagine my surprise when I heard this song for the first time a few years later...

It's kind of ironic that the popular song by this amazing band was the only one written by the guitarist. I think it's a nice little man's protest against Jim using the band for his own success. 'cause that's not the way a band should work. In my opinion "Light My Fire" kind of lit the fire of the band.
