The Delgados乐队来自英国苏格兰的格拉斯哥，成立于1994年。音乐类型属于Indie rock。成员Alun Woodward(主唱/吉他手)，Stewart Henderson(BASS手)和Paul Savage(鼓手)曾被迫退出Bubblegum乐队。Emma Pollock(主唱/吉他手)曾是Savage的女友。”The Delgados”这个名字由来于Tour de France（著名自行车赛）的获胜运动员Pedro Delgado。

乐队由于 Stewart的离去于2005年4月宣布解散。他认为乐队并没有得到他们应得的关注及尊重，所以很难把自己的精力和时间投入进去。”to pour so much of my energy and time into something that never quite seemed to get the attention or respect I felt it deserved.”

HATE 中的”The Light Before we Land”和”Woke from Dreaming”在2003年被日本动画Gunslinger Girl采用。

The Complete BBC Peel Sessions 于2006年7月12日，在乐队的解散之后发售。

Wow, just downloaded Hate on a whim last night. It is utterly fantastic! A real emotional rollercoaster, uplifting and catchy but also desperately sad. Why hasn't someone/something brought my attention to this group before now?

I saw Delgados on Madrid in 2004 and it´s still one of my top 5 fav concerts ever. Universal Audio is a total classic!!
