    My favourite Decemberists song. that eerie start, that chugging rhythm in the middle then that out of nowhere Oasis-like chorus, fantastic lyrics it's got it all. Great piece of songwriting!

    GAH I WAS JUST RACKING MY BRAIN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT BEATLES SONG THIS SOUNDED LIKE. I kept singing the part over and over in my head, and I knew the lyric that came in had two syllables, but I couldn't place it. It was killing me! Now I know it's "heavy!" cuz you guys had it written down there. Pretty much lifted straight from "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" Probably not intentional, but it's the same.
