The Cooper Temple Clause

迄今已聽了好幾張2007年度的新專輯，而到目前為止最叫我聽得稱心滿意、雀躍不已，是英國Reading樂團The Cooper Temple Clause的第三張專輯Make This Your Own。剛為Milk寫了一篇Feature，反覆聽著這專輯，那就是愈聽愈討喜。
Make This Your Own是他們轉投獨立廠牌Sanctuary、失去了低音結他手Didz而改組成五人樂團後的新作，跟前作Kick Up The Fire, And Let The Flames Break Loose足足相隔了三年多。
今次TCTC的最大改變，是樂團採取了三主唱方式：Ben Gautrey、Tom Bellamy和Dan Fisher三人各有不同的演繹方式。縱使今次的歌曲來得比以往更加Song-Based有Hookline而短小精桿，但在多元化曲風與三人的主唱下，仍可凸顯示樂團的三重性格。
Damage和Homo Sapiens在Ben的主唱下是充塞著巨大結他Riff的爽勁搖滾樂曲；Take Comfort的幽美Folky令人想到The Lilac Time，House Of Cards仿如回到八十年代英倫新浪潮的好時代；Dan有一把軟性的嗓音，新單曲Waiting Game似十足Placebo的歌曲，也有漂亮動人的What Have You Gone And Done；電氣曲目方面，Head好比Depeche Mode的幽暗懾人Techno Rock作品，Tom主唱的Connect有如新浪漫音樂的歐陸電子，Once More With Feeling由Glitch電音與電影感推至搖滾張力，Tom與Ben合唱的Epic曲目All I See Os You亦由漫天無際電音蛻變至浩瀚搖滾綻放。耳感豐富的專輯。
