it`s such a simply beautiful, meaningful- perfect! song that we often don`t pay attention to it, i think. cause it`s so obviously amazing. i`ve known this song for years, but just recently i`ve discovered the true power of it, not just "oh yeah, it`s Let it be again.." and it gives me shivers now.

When I visit a Beatle's song page and check who is listening, I always think it is wonderful that the younger generation (15 to 25) is listening and enjoying the Beatle's music I listened to when I was their age almost 40 years ago.

saying that it's in the top five songs doesn't really further your argument that it's not overrated, but whatever. what bothered me about that comment was, "There's a soothing quality to this song that you rarely hear in music anymore. ", implying that there's some special quality to this song that other music lacks for the most part, which I don't agree with. it's a nice enough song, but I can think of so many songs that are soothing and were released pretty recently. nothing against the beatles or this song, just my two cents.

I really wasn't crazy over the song LET IT BE, But when I saw Across the Universe" It brought so much meaning to the song. Yes I agree with all of you. It gave me goosebumps tooo!!! That beautiful woman and that little boy sang that song with their heart. I cry every time I watch it. Which is about 55 times. Love that movie. In fact I might just watch it again, because there WILL be an answer. LET IT BE!!!!!
