Fuckin' hell, mate, you've got a damn fine point there. The Beatles, those cheeky bastards, really tore up the fuckin' rulebook with "Revolver." It's like they grabbed the music industry by the balls and said, "Listen up, you shits, we're doing our own goddamn thing." George, that quiet motherfucker, really came out swinging with "Taxman," didn't he? It's like he's telling the government to shove it up their arse with that biting wit of his. And that sitar on "Love You To"? Fucking innovative as hell. Lennon, though, that dude was on another planet. "Tomorrow Never Knows" is like a bad acid trip that you never want to end, all while Ringo's pounding the drums like a man possessed. It's like they were all fuckin' high on creativity. And don't get me started on McCartney. That guy could take a shit and it would come out a melody. From the sophistication of "Eleanor Rigby" to the soulful "Got to Get You into My Life," the man was a fucking pop chameleon. So what's your take on

57 years today. My only problem with this album is Yellow Submarine. Because I feel it out of place. I think it works better between Taxman and Eleanor Rigby. Would be pretty cool if the album had Paperback Writer and Rain in the place of Yellow Submarine. In any case, I still think it's a 10/10 album.

I've had similar thoughts when listening to certain masterpieces: "What if The Beach Boys had included Good Vibrations on Pet Sounds?" Like others I love Yellow Submarine and think it fits perfectly in the flow of the album. Would be cool if they had just added it right before Tomorrow Never Knows.

This was really underwhelming :C third best album of all time, really? I'm not gonna take Rolling Stone seriously again.

lots of incredible music here of course, and it makes sense why it was so revolutionary in its time, but let's be honest: this album does not flow

it's weird to think "eleanor rigby" would make a good track 2 under any circumstances...but especially coming out of "taxman" and going into "i'm only sleeping"

and delightful as it is, "yellow submarine" being on here is definitely pretty weird – sometimes my mind tricks me into thinking it's on magical mystery tour. but it's almost brutal coming right after "here, there." kind of mystifying they didn't have "here" close out side one, but putting it before "submarine" is just nuts

and c'mon, "and your bird can sing" is an obvious side two opener – even capitol got that right...

I skip yellow submarine every time. Shit makes my ears bleed. Good album nonetheless

I never skip songs because I want to consume the art as the artist intended (as pretentious as that sounds) but fuck me it's a painful 2 minutes and 40 seconds

Easily their best album IMO. The pinnacle of their groundbreaking genius and creativity and venture into the psychedelia of the 60s.

Great album but a suggestion to improve it would be replacing every existing song with Yellow Submarine thank you

Most popular on the record yet the weakest imo. Those She Said She Said plays need UPPED

No dude, Eleanor Rigby is the most popular. Have to say Yellow Submarine isn't a great song but surely not their worst.

I think this might be my favourite alongside Sgt. Pepper. Love the experimental side of them.
