来自忍者军团/Ninja Tune旗下的乐队The Cinematic Orchestra，也是这个着名独立厂牌下一个风格迥异的团体。就如同他们乐队名字所想表达的那般，他们的作品在采样拼贴的基础之上，融合酸性爵士，弦乐，以及TripHop的缓慢节拍，从而营造出一个游走在电影原声和前卫爵士乐之间的氛围音乐。聆听他们的作品你会明显感受到比一般普通的电影配乐更强烈的张力和感染力

照一般业界的说法 Cinematic Orchestra是一个有见识的录音室奇才Jason Swinscoe与四位杰出爵士乐手(包括Phil France (版本龙一/Zero 7)等人)再加一位唱盘高手，也就是DJ Food的幕后大将之一Patrick Carpenter的超级组合．Jason Swinscoe深受影史经典配乐大师Bernard Hermann (大国民 Citizen Kane, 惊魂记Psycho… , 与计程车司机Taxi Driver)及老爵士影响，同时却又是当今难得的解构混音奇才，而他们以拼贴取样为体，即兴爵士为用，比电影配乐更具戏剧张力的作品风格，很快就吸引了全球相关产业的注意．

Drumming throughout TCO's stuff is pure genius! Perfect amount of notes in all the right places, grooves up against minimilist classical/jazz melodies, always moving forward... can't say enough about its overall impact. I love this group's body of work... just beautiful!!!
