Froese is dead and they continue touring? Okay. One doesn't have to understand this.

I was blown away by it. I honestly didn't have all that high of expectations-- silly me! I will definitely go see them live if they come anywhere close to me.

Quantum Gate es una obra de arte, se ha vuelto uno de mis albums favoritos, realmente respetaron el sonido tradicional de TD!

На самом деле в космосе убийственная тишина: там нет воздуха, а звук в вакууме не распространяется...

POKRISHKA - I would start with Rubycon, Phaedra, and Tangram, Force Majeure, Stratosfear and Underwater Sunlight.. These are the best for me, but then again they have many more great albums.

POKRISHKA: Just start with Phaedra, Ricochet and Stratosfear, it would be the best possible introduction. This is not the kind of band that can be summarized in a compilation.

CELEBRATION CONCERTS FOR EDGAR: The new band formation - Thorsten Quaeschning, Ulrich Schnauss, Hoshiko Yamane and Peter Baumann as a new member - have already finished the first phase of producing the celebration album for Edgar, the second phase is following soon in July. Bianca told us that the first tracks already sound great - and just keep in mind, Edgar is always a part of this music as the band developed their compositions on the basis of his musical sketches or pieces. This special album - called QUANTUM GATE - will be a product of love and honour for Edgar Froese and his lifework Tangerine Dream - you will definitely hear this! Release schedule: Autumn 2015 Originally the band thought to perform the first concerts in autumn this year, but this was too difficult to organize (too short-term) on the part of the involved promoters, so we decided for a celebration tour in SPRING 2016.

RIP Edgar Froese. 1 of the greats of the early 70's is no longer with us! Tangerine Dream's greatest , most creative period was probably between 1970 and 77. Still, there is probably no real reason why the group couldn't continue for years to come. Thorsten Quaeschning and Ulrich Schnauss are both composers themselves. Also new members could join over the years and contribute on stage like Linda, Thorsten,,Iris, Bernhard, Hoshiko,.etc, did. Let's face it. The band stopped being a normal band and turned into an institution years ago. We may even get some surprises in the future.
