They were probably left on the cutting floor because they wouldn't incorporate themselves comfortably into the flow of the album. I guarantee a brilliant double album from the band would up them on people's radar. People are fascinated with double albums done right and are always held in high esteem when remembered for year-end lists. Not that SFA would even remotely care as they always do their own thing, but it's just a thought.

It's a funny one. Roman Road, Happiness Is A Worn Pun, Edam Anchorman and Patience are all amazing songs and better than a lot of the stuff that made the cut. Edam Anchorman is a particular favourite of mine.

Yeah, they should have stuck with it. Even though I find the bonus disc on Rings Around the World inferior to the original album.

Y'know I opened up my CD copy of Fuzzy Logic for the first time in years the other day. Found a folded up page from Smash Hits with the lyrics for Something for the Weekend... Dunno why I thought that was a good thing to keep when I was 11! ;-)

'neil diamond' has a bassline that kicks. but i remember when radiator came out and select (!) magazine had a feature on sfa. they printed a picture of the lyrics to download, written in marker pen, pinned to a notice board in the studio they were recording the album in. i don't know who wrote those lyrics on paper, but i cared that those lyrics came from sfa. seriously, who cares if it's daf or bunf on 'walk you home?'. Not me. It's sfa.

I'm pretty sure it's out of print now? So that's why you can't get it brand spanking new on Amazon. But I would just buy it from Amazon or Play's marketplace. A lot of the sellers there sell brand new CDs. And eBay sometimes has still sealed copies.
