Sponge is definitely a '90s post-grunge band to remember. Even though Vinnie is the only original member left, their newer stuff ain't bad.

when i saw them at a club in 1995, it was "Rotting Pinata" that caused an annoying mosher to squash my toe... it was bruised & bleeding & everything, & i was limping for a few days. haha... good times tho, Sponge really put on a show!!! 1 of the more memorable 90s bands that i saw... Ned's Atomic Dustbin & Letters to Cleo were on the same tour. Ned's was also just as memorable!!! they just don't make bands like that anymore :-P

Grunge/Goth/Post-Grunge/Detroit/nice people who sign autographs (at least at that Ohio show I was at)...love the band!!!!!!...also, Vin is singer and has sideprojects: Sons of Perdition/etc.
