You can’t deny that the guy has some freak’n talent when it comes to belting out the blues. You know… the more I listen to Son House, there is a contrast between the styles of his earlier recordings and ones made later in life (but you say: “No Duh Oppy; that’s age”). Despite the speed difference in his playing and the ageing of his voice, I can just hear a little Robert Johnson in the earlier ones. Or maybe, I should be saying I hear a little Son House in Robert’s recordings. Hmmmm…
