@Shadowcast: You should try the older stuff more. I don't like their newest works all that much myself either. Not my all-time favorite band anyway but they have some damn great bright spots in their insanely vast discography.

i don't "get" this band. i love noise, i love technoid, i've really tried....but i end up just thinking these guys are terrible, pretty much every time. earlier stuff is more likable, but mercury - the first i've heard since adverts - really didn't do anything for me at all. what am i not getting about these guys?

I agree.. I hope this dubstep stuff is a phase and they can return to their original sound.. Although I bet they're pretty bored with their own style, so they might change to something else.. Who knows..
