I love Snow Patrol. I really do. I love all of their albums from Songs for Polar Bears to A Hundred Million Suns. But I. Can't. Stand. This. Rubbish. As a song, "Chasing Cars" is ok. But compared with the rest of their tracks, it's mainstream crap. Sorry to sound elitistic, but it is. Come on, Gary has written lyrics that are a thousand times better and Nathan Connelly can come up with a riff that isn't so dull. I'm so sick of talking to people about Snow Patrol and that this is the only song they know about them. They should do what Radiohead did with "Creep" and stop playing it live altogether.

They did the most incredible version of this song on the 4Music Favourites show. I loved this song anyway, but that cover was quite possibly the most amazing thing I've ever heard. One of my favourite bands :)
