Sepultura (Portuguese: Grave[4]) is a Brazilian heavy metal band, formed in 1984 in Belo Horizonte.[5] The band was a major force in the death metal and thrash metal realms during the late 1980s and early 1990s,[6] leading the Brazilian thrash metal scene, and later experiments melding hardcore punk, industrial rock, and indigenous Brazilian music with extreme metal[7][8] provided a blueprint for the groove metal[9] and hardcore metal subgenres.
Sepultura gained multiple gold and platinum records across the globe, including countries such as France,[10][11] Australia,[12] Indonesia,[13] United States[14] and their native Brazil,[15] sold over 15 million units worldwide.[16]
The band has released ten studio albums so far, and another one has been announced to be released in 2008. Their most successful records are Arise (1991),[17] Chaos A.D. (1993) and Roots (1996),[18] each of them having surpassed the one million mark, worldwide.

Derrick Green is a much more intense singer than Max was. I mean, Max was badass in the Arise/Chaos A.D. era, but listen to "Nuclear Seven" or "One Man Army". Green KILLS it.

Sepultura are playing Hellfest, now Sepultura have been one of my favorite bands for a long long time, but anything after 96 (with an exception from a few tracks off Roarback) sucks balls.
