Exactly. Trey hardly plays authentic Eastern music, but I love it.

Actually Trey said himself that one of the members had any formal training or understanding of mid-eastern or Persian music. In fact their music would probably sound more foreign to someone over in the mid-east than it would to someone here in North America.

I wonder how he is so brilliant, actually. Probably might relate to his upbringing. From his music, I can assume he grew up in a cave in the middle of a desert that had occasional strong storms (and while seeking shelter learned to play every stringed instrument possible).

I agree it shouldn't be overlooked, but for a newcomer I think Book M is best to start with, since overall First Grand Constitution is more noisy and avant-garde then the rest.
