Robyn Hitchcock is a criminally underrated artist, and a compelling guitarist and lyricist. Aside from Nina Simone, he has released the most albums of all the artists in my music collection, so this list was especially hard. I had to take into account not only Robyn's solo output, but also his work with The Egyptians and The Venus 3. Unfortunately, because it is nearly 4am and my brain isn't working properly, I forgot to include songs from his first band, The Soft Boys, on my list. But perhaps they should be considered an entity entirely separate from the work of Robyn Hitchcock, whereas The Egyptians and The Venus 3 are merely an extension of the ground he laid as a solo artist.

On second thought, fuck this. I'll be dreaming of sex organs and revolting vegetables, thanks to Mr. Hitchcock.
