For me Ride lost it after the Today Forever album. There's nothing of theirs I like much after that, apart from perhaps the dubby one (what's it called) from Going Blank Again. But for me aged 20/21back in 1990 they were absolutely one of the most thrilling indie bands about. Dreams Burn Down, Vapour Trail, what a rush!

I'm still thinking I need to get into Nowhere. I mean... I even had a couple of weird weeks where I'd listen to Carnival of Light all the time and I know it isn't that good. It's absurd that I have listened to the Today Forever EP more than this album. It's 4 songs! 4 songs I really really like, but still... This song will probably never kick Leave Them All Behind from its high position though. I love Leave Them All Behind too much.
