This song could be about his "friend", whether or not she is pregnant, and facing the coming morning with "crawling skin" to find out the answer. A friend dressed in leather eh? :) That's what I love about this band's early work; the lyrics are so brilliantly put together. It takes some sheer freaking talent to put words together like this.

I will further submit about this masterpiece, a song my brother shared with me while we messed around with Oujia, that destruction and death are sometimes the lovliest thing you can witness. I'm not saying to play Pure Morning while you blow up your microwave, but you could play it while you run on the treadmill, hit the gym, or fuck, burning all the old fat in your body and attracting new matter.
