来自洛山矶的说唱组合People Under the Stairs（PUTS），由两名成员组成，分别是Thes One和Double K，团体1997成立以来一直活跃在地下Hip-Hop界内，至今已经发行了七张录音室专辑，高水平的质量，让他们拥有一定的威望。
在今年7月People Under the Stairs发行了一张精选专辑《The OM Years》，记录团体成立10年来的音乐精华。而近日团体又发行了最新的Mixtape，叫做《Funner Than Leather》，并且是免费公开下载，有兴趣的朋友可以在网上找到该张专辑的下载地址。这张新Mixtape当中请到了Shawn Jackson，Time Machine，Raashan Ahmad等爵士说唱艺人的客串。
堅持獨立嘻哈精神，不願向商業靠攏，拒當主流界操控搖錢樹的二人團隊 ‧CD1收錄OM Records旗下最黃金年代的精選代表，包括唯一衝破流行範疇的登上 Billboard熱門饒舌榜Top36的(We’ll Be There) ‧CD2整理出B-Sides與稀有罕見版本，大秀刮盤技能的純音樂片段，提供嘻哈舞場混音最佳典範！ 和A Tribe Called Quest、The Pharcyde等經典團堅持獨立嘻哈精神，完全不願向商業靠攏，拒當主流界操控的搖錢樹。由出生秘魯的Thes One（本名Chris Portugal）以及來自洛杉磯的Double K (本名Michael Turner Jr. )，兩人對音樂的堅持和理念一拍即合而組成People Under The Stairs，1998年發行《The Next Step》，受到AMG四星好評入選：「前途有望的首張專輯」，同時引起OM Records執行長Chris Smith 賞識並簽入旗下，陸續問市的《Question In The Form Of An Answer》、《O.S.T.》等作品，全數贏得嚴苛樂評們的大力推崇。節錄People Under The Stairs在OM Records最黃金年代的精選特輯，CD1部分都是粉絲群愛不釋手的單曲，包括：覆蓋濃烈Soul Jazz味覺的〈San Francisco Knights〉，順耳的合音部分更添耐聽頻率；唯一衝破流行範疇登上Billboard熱門饒舌榜Top36 的〈We’ll Be There〉；相當Laid Back柔滑的動人小品〈The Cat〉、〈O.S.T.
