2001年最充满精神的重摇滚唱片”……滚石杂志四颗星高评 ◎ 2002年葛莱美奖入围、MTV音乐奖6项提名来自圣地亚哥的P.O.D. (Payable On Death)，由鼓手Wuv于1992年要请他表弟Sonny及好友Marcos来担任他力组Hardcore摇滚乐队之主唱与吉他手一职，直到隔年他才找到理想贝斯手Traa；整装成型后的P.O.D. 在独立厂牌陆续发行四张专辑，一直到1998年才获Atlantic唱片青睐签入旗下，隔年推出的首张大碟不但荣登新人潜力榜冠军，更衣锦还乡地拿回圣地亚哥当地最佳重摇滚团体大奖，连滚石杂志都将他们入选2000年“People Of The Year”！首支单曲《Rock The Party (Off The Hook)》让P.O.D.继Korn、Limp Bizkit之后，第三组摇滚乐队荣登MTV台乐迷票选最受欢迎的年度单曲录像带。他们热爱上帝，用圣经作为歌词，但同时他们玩的是凶猛的音乐。“工业、噪音、嘻哈、重金属”，与“信心、盼望、救赎、十字架”混为一谈，却全然不冲突。
