Nas wanted to call his album "Nigger", but the label said it was too controversial so he dropped the title. Gravediggaz wanted to call their album "Niggamortis", but the label said it was too controversial for America so the name was changed to "6 Feet Deep" here. Dirt wanted to call his album "Black Man Is God, White Man Is the Devil", so the label said "Nigga Please" would be an A-OK title.

This album was very good, from Ol' Dirty, his styles were more varied on this album, the production from Irv Gotti, The Neptunes, and the RZA was on fire. I guess as a whole album it might not be better cohesively than Return to the 36 Chambers, but I may have liked it better. It came at a terrible time in the Wu-tang chronology, right after Uncontrolled Substance disappointed.
