Trzeba się z tym nareszcie zmierzyć - moja własna historia Foo Fighters!

Tutaj - tak jak przy Coldplay'u - także złożyło się kilka oddzielnych wydarzeń, które spowodowały, że FooF (Fusy? Fusowie? ^^) wskoczyło na 4'te miejsce w ,,najczęściej odtwarzanych":
- znów luty 2009. Ta sama płytka z muzyką od Madzi zawiera także kilka kompozycji Grohl'a i reszty, czyni m.in. ,,Best Of You (2005)" (trzeba jednak zaznaczyć, że tytuł nie powinien zawierać w sobie roku, ale tak ujednolicona została cała selekcja ^^). Baaardzo mi się spodobało, tak samo z resztą jak rarytasik ,,My Hero (Acoustic - Howard Stern Show)"

- a bodajże sierpień 2009. Na MTV TWO przygotowano selekcję Dave'a Grohl'a, w której umieszczono utwory, w których brał on udział (czyli cała najlepsza twórczość Foo Fighters oraz Nirvana'y, epizod w Queens of the Stone Age czy Tenacious D). Oglądałem tę listę w skupieniu w pustawym barze w Gródku (na rozkręconych głośnikach, a wiadomo - nie każdy trawi taki rodzaj muzyki =D ). Widziałem tam wszystkie najważniejsze teledyski. Lista ta miała na mnie duży wpływ.

- tutaj czasu określić nie potrafię, niestety. Ale podejrzewam, że to był koniec 2007-go roku. Wtedy też (chyba także na MTV TWO) widzę teledysk do utworu ,,The Pretender".


Widzę go tylko raz. Nawet niecały. Ale wywiera na mnie duże wrażenie. Myślę - ,,ściągnę sobie". Zapomniałem. Utwór ten przypomina się na wakacjach (konkretnie w lipcu 2009) , za sprawą Panny tropik94. Tak wżera mi się on w mózg, że przy psychicznym dole pożyczam odtwarzacz, idę nad morze, na brzeg. Włączam utwór na maxa głośności i... kopię w fale. Przez całe 4 minuty! To był najlepszy sposób odreagowania, jaki kiedykolwiek sobie wymyśliłem! Trochę inaczej napisałem o tym w dzienniku.

- maleńkim epizodzikiem, który spowodował posłodzenie smaku Foos'ów (^^), było odnalezienie wideo ,,Stairway to Heaven (Live on Craig Kilborn)" (to jest okolica początku września 2009)

The entire point of being with a woman is to sleep with her. Other than that, there aint nothing much to do with a woman, coz you have to PRETEND to be romantic all the time just to get her into bed. No. 5: Cream, Disraeli Gears
Most Overrated Song: Sunshine Of Your Love
A very good song yes, but hardly Cream's best.
Most Underrated Song: Dance The Night Away
This song has an excellent main riff and a great buildup in the verses.
Best Song: Tales Of Brave Ulysses
The beginning has a mysterious effect and then the verse slams in and the guitar brilliance begins.
Worst Song: Mother's Lament
I think that the band was drunk. Seriously.

No. 4: Nirvana, Nevermind
Most Overrated Song: Smells Like Teen Spirit
Again, an outstanding song, but even Kurt Cobain himself said they had better songs.
Most Underrated Song: Lounge Act
Part of the "weaker" B-Side of the album, this song is anything but weak. I particularly like the bass intro.
Best Song: Come As You Are
Some people may say this is overrated but I think that the guitar riff, plus the ironic lyrics make it as good, if not better than Smells Like Teen Spirit.
Worst Song: Territorial Pissings
I'm all for a fast, energetic song but I can't help but feel this song is just noise for the sake of it.

No. 3: Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here
Most Overrated Song: Wish You Were Here
This song is great but I think it lacks that something extra to make it truly amazing.
Most Underrated Song: Welcome to the Machine
Lots of people like this song on YouTube, but I still think this song is the least recognized on Wish You Were Here.
Best Song: Shine On You Crazy Diamond (parts v - ix)
Yes, everyone thinks that Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I - V) is better but I actually prefer this one, mostly because of the great keyboard work at the end.
Worst Song: Have a Cigar
I really do love this album, even this song is my Top 20 Pink Floyd Songs, but overall I think this is the weakest track on the album. I don't really care for the guest vocals either.

No. 2: Led Zeppelin, Physical Graffiti
Most Overrated Song: In My Time of Dying
This song is very popular but probably the least overrated out of all Led Zeppelin songs.
Most Underrated Song: The Wanton Song
The Rover is very underrated also but on YouTube I have seen practically zero views for any video of this song, and I think it is one of their best.
Best Song: Kashmir
This should really be the most overrated song, but I couldn't bring myself to call it that. It's amazing.
Worst Song: Black Country Woman
This song is some kind of accoustic melody. Again, I can't help but imagine it was recorded while the whole band was drunk.

No. 1: The Beatles, The White Album
Most Overrated Song: Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da
This song is very well-known, and I wonder why? It's absolutely awful.
Most Underrated Song: Yer Blues
The Beatles go bluesy. This song is pretty heavy for The Beatles and is in my Top 20, but I don't think that many people have heard of it at all.
Best Song: While My Guitar Gently Weeps
The best thing about this song is the brilliant guitar work, done by Eric Clapton.
Worst Song: Revolution 9
I know lots of people will disagree about the albums and the songs on them, but nobody can deny that this rubbish is just noise.
