I didn't listen to the Meat Puppets for almost a year because i listened to them so much in the early part of 2009 and i wanted to preserve them as long as i can. they still sound fucking amazing, Mission Accomplished.

Just got Meat Puppets II and Up On The Sun and I'm really digging this band. Thanks be to Kurt Cobain. This will be the third really good band I've got into thanks to him. Why this band doesn't get more credit, I'll never know.

I remember the first time I played the Meat Puppets' first album... it sounded so bad that I thought I had the record on the wrong speed. Or made a mistake by not ingesting copious quantities of acid. But then turned on Meat Puppets II and had a grand ole time. Awesome record, to this day.

You know, I read an article that named the Meat Puppets as evidence of "Kurt Cobain's naff taste in music". Shows what a bunch of half witted mainstream morons ended up listening to Nirvana at the end that they could not tell that Kurt spent his whole career striving in vain to reach the standards of Plateau.
