KidneyThieves首先由女主唱Free Dominguez和 Bruce Somers 组成。
1998年，正是工业金属繁荣的时期，当然猛男工业乐队各自林立，像Kidneythieves这样有着女主唱的工业金属乐队实在屈指可数，不知是不是性别岐视，他们的唱片一直没火起来，直到这张专辑的发行，他们才真正为大众所识。
实际上这是一支很有潜力的乐队，他们的音乐又着阴暗的旋律，充满了愤怒扭曲的情绪，Zerospace[零度空间]这首歌开头沉重的鼓击，打字机似的音效，像是抒情诗的敲击版本，如果你想要一个混合黑暗愤怒的工业女声，就是他们：Kidneythieves，KidneyThieves的实力不容小视,他们以极强极丰富的音乐节奏为风格,这是与其他的摇滚歌手的单纯吼叫是很大不一样的。

Personally I want to forget Trypt0fanatic ever happened, but the Invisible Plan album is much better. Actually The Invisible Plan and Underneath are really good songs!

Hawkinsism- Went back and listened to Layers per your comment. F 2the F has about the same amount of distortion/noise as layers. Both are great songs. Layers is also one of my favorites of theirs but man new music needs to be - well - new man. F 2the F is awesome and definitely not a light weight wanna be Industrial - it is ground breaking and I would love to hear either song live. And I would like to be pretty damn close to the band too!!!!! So listen up and enjoy one of the best bands ever -

its disappointing that they are moving away from industrial influences. my favorite KT song is layers. I loved the use of noise in their older releases. It saddens me that they are unlikely to go back in that direction. A shame too as her voice is damn perfect for it.
