Hopefully that's a load of twaddle. A little over a week ago, a message was posted on their Facebook page reading: "Working out drum partherns!" which suggests business as usual for the band. Would be very disappointed if that is not the case.

Lulz I'm pretty sure that this Montreal band is The Plasmarifle. Anyway, this fucking sucks. There are hundreds of shitty bands that get record deals everyday, there's no way Ion Dissonance remain unsigned.

first off I'm not trying to spread rumors and no one hopes I'm wrong more than me. as you may or may not know they were having problems with the label, I know its old but look up the hardtimes.ca interview, but I was still under the impression they were writing and were going to release. I caught a show featuring a montreal band (not trying to be a name-dropper) they are friends with and when speaking with their guitarists the subject of what was going on with Ion came up. I asked him if they were still having trouble with the label, he said "their label is dead" I asked him about the material they are writing he said "yeah but they dont have any plans to record, if they do it will be for fun" those things just spell breakup to me which leads me to believe its an inevitability, this is however MY opinion, thus the use of the PROBABLY some of you seem to have overlooked.
