Iglu & Hartly是由科罗拉多大学3名大学生Jarvis Anderson (keyboards, vocals)、Sam Martin (keyboards, vocals),、Simon Katz (guitar)创建的新浪潮复兴乐队，移居加州后，来自芝加哥的鼓手Luis Rosiles与洛杉矶当地的贝司手Michael Bucher加入乐队，首支单曲“Violent and Young”于2008年6月打上UK单曲榜。其后签约名厂牌Mercury旗下，2008年9月单曲“In This City”打上UK单曲榜第5位。9月底发表首张专辑《& Then Boom》。
