I Monster是一支来自英国北部城市设菲尔德的电子乐队，乐队前身名叫Anderson Shelter。1997年Dean Honer和Jarrod Gosling将乐队改名为I Monster，改名后成功发行处女专辑《These Are Our Children》。但是由于Honer当时忙碌于另一支乐队All Seeing I的一系列活动，所以4年后，I Monster才在Cercle Records唱片公司旗下发行了他们的首支单曲《Daydream In Blue》，其实也只是一首老歌《Daydream》的混音版。而不久之后这首单曲再次混音并重新在Instant Karma公司旗下（“Twins of Evil“的子公司）发行。这首歌曾经也在BBC的电视剧《Hustle》第一季第三集里面使用过。
第二张正式专辑《Neveroddoreven》在2003年发行，大放异彩，于次年发行了该专辑的混音版。之后乐队常常受邀当嘉宾在伦敦各处做现场表演，以及参加欧洲各种大型的音乐节。期间乐队收纳了The Lovers乐队的Fred de Fred和Marion Benoist，分别担任吉他和声效处理。
另外，I Monster和他们的厂牌Twins of Evil的名字均是来自于恐怖电影。
