来自奥克拉荷马市的摇滚新锐Hinder/缓冲乐队，由主唱Austin Winkler、吉他手Joe “Blower” Garvey、吉他手Mark King、贝斯手Mike Rodden和鼓手Cody Hanson五位充满报复的年轻人组成。他们企图带领乐迷体验昔日即使堕落颓废，摇滚、性与药物仍代表着单纯而不龌龊的生活插曲的旧时光。「我们希望成为让观众再一次强烈热爱上摇滚的关键乐团！」鼓手Cody如此表示。
　　五年前，当吉他手Joe Garvey、鼓手Cody Hanson在大大学宿舍的派对上听见主唱Austin Winkler的演唱，马上就被震慑吸引住了。「他有着迷人的魅力和独特的嗓音！」于是，志同道合的五位团员确定了Hinder的组团计划；他们不愿成为另一支缺乏特色的乐团、终日唱着忧伤沮丧的歌曲，Hinder希望能够用自己的作品重现80年代的摇滚精神！主唱Austin Winkler用他苍凉沙哑而充满力量的声音，为Hinder的歌曲注入了血肉与人性，确实让人联想到摇滚名团Aerosmith、Rolling Stones和Bad Company。而全美三大主流唱片厂牌在听过Hinder的歌曲后争相网罗的举动，更证明了Hinder不容忽视的实力。

　　这张专辑是Hinder的首张专辑，作为一支Post-Grunge乐队，他们的歌曲有着动听上口的旋律。<Extreme Behavior>在Billboard榜单上的成绩可以说是相当的好，上榜将近40周了，势头依然不减。在iTunes的下载排行榜上，主打之一的《Lips of an angel》也一直是在TOP 10里。另外，主唱的声音和Nickelback很像。

Seriuosly tired of all these trolls on Hinder's page.If you compare Nickelback to Hinder; you are tone deaf. They have different sounds. Cody sounds nothing like Chad and thier styles differ greatly. I asume you are not really a fan nor listening to the music if you make that comparison. Even thier video concepts differ. I've said it countless of times that Hinder more closely relates to the rock bands of the early 90s, like Poison, Warrant, Bon Jovi . Even Aerosmith is an inspiration. Same style of videos too. Look at "What Ya Gonna Do" and "Lips Of An gel"to see what I mean in similiar video concept. These bands also have in comon that they are American. Nickelback is Canadian. Their style of music is way different. More like 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace, Shinedown, ect..Both Hinder and Nickelback are great bands, but nothing alike in sound. Listen to Take It To Limit and then Darkhorse and then eat your words. American and Canadian hard rock is a world of difference. Peace out.

Nickelback and Hinder are both great bands. Colour-waves is just a moron that doesn't know any better, which is clearly apparent by his chosen display pic of beavis/butthead with his shirt around his head - no doubt that that represents him.
