至少有两支乐队叫 Heavenly

1. 1989年到1996年间存在的一支英国独立/华丽流行组合。(鉴于该组合业已解释，故在此不作详细介绍，有兴趣的朋友可以查阅Last.fm英文版上的说明。)

2. 组建于1994年的一支法国速度力量金属乐队，他们的音乐是和 Helloween、Stratovarius、Gamma Ray 和 Angra 类似的旋律金属。截至2000年，他们已发行了4张专辑：
2000 - Coming from the Sky （来自天空）
2001 - Sign of the Winner （胜者之兆）
2004 - Dust to Dust （尘归尘）
2006 - Virus （病毒）

@blackbirdsfly: I suppose you only read my first post and skipped the rest. I already said we share same dislikeness for sharing the space. About the picture, I wonder how is it that plain text can sound to you like a stab in the heart, weird. You would complain too if you suddenly saw that the shared pic was gone replaced by the Metal band photo only, so quit acting so superior. Also, I used soft, kind-hearted insults for your delicate pop ears, if you wish me to use something more hardcore just let me know. I can be very polite and I already apologized for the post, stop bugging me.

And to save you having to look it up. Baroque and Roll is a medley of neoclassical music. Air is Air on a G String. Opus Suite is a medley of neoclassical. William's Tale is the William Tell Overture.

Lijemo. Domine - Ride of the Valkyries. Also, Iron Savior - Gorgar has a brief bit of Ride of the Valkyries in it. If you find a metal cover of O Fortuna let me know! I love that 'song'. :P You might also like "Baroque and Roll" and "Air" by Yngwie J Malmsteen' Rising Force and Dark Tower of Abyss by Rhapsody (not actual classical but influenced by Dvorak). What else? Opus Suite by Absolute Steel. William's Tale by Manowar.

I love Metal covers of classical music. (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Apocalyptica and Epica have lots; Dark Moor has a few, Cirith Ungol has a cool cover of Bach's Toccata Fugue in D-minor). But I have yet to find a Metal cover of O Fortuna, or of Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries, even though they both are obvious candidates. Anybody know of one of either of those?

Actually, the insults tend to fly from both camps. Now and again there's more twee dudes dissing the metalheads, but with metal Heavenly releasing a new album it's no surprise to find an increase of their listeners popping over here, making it seem like it's one sided. Believe me. Having watched this shoutbox for two years I can tell you there's an equal amount of bickering. :P So, did I hear someone say Heavenly have covered Beethoven? :O Awesome. I was hoping they'd do a cheesy pop cover to match Elvenking's latest offering but I'll accept power classical. After all, I loved Dark Moor's epic Beethoven tribute The Moon from their Tarot album. Ten minutes of neoclassical awesomeness! I'm resisting the urge to listen to any tracks yet though. I always like to listen to an album in track order at once for the first listening.

Amazon say 18th December. Nov 2009 was announced at Metalstorm earlier this year. Now they say 25th november. Wikipedia say 18th December, information they attribute to blabbermouth.net. Heavenly's label (AFM) have a German website, but even after running it through Google Translate I can clearly see the release date as 18th December. I'm guessing the label themselves are as official as it gets so... all those sites claiming November... Shame on you!
