【乐队简介】

绿日(Green Day)乐队是90年代之后美国朋克音乐复兴时期的重要乐队之一，他们的成员深受70年代朋克音乐时期经典乐队影响，而简明上口的流畅旋律让他们的音乐更便于流行。在1994年涅磐王朝(Nirvana)崩塌之后，朋克音乐复兴与另类流行摇滚乐当道的时候，Green Day乐队也一跃成为了这股风潮的中流砥柱，成为了90年代以后最受欢迎的摇滚乐队之一，也是美国流行乐朋克复兴中最有影响的乐队之一。

1988年，只有14岁的吉他手兼歌手Billie Joe Armstrong与同龄的儿时伙伴，贝司手Mike Dirnt联手在美国加利福尼亚州西北部首先组建了Green Day的前身Sweet Children乐队，1989年当鼓手Al Sobrante加入之后正式更名为Green Day。成军之后通过发行一些EP专辑，进入90年代的Green Day在加州北方的地下朋克圈内名声鹊起，随即加盟了加州当地的独立唱片公司Lookout!。随着该公司老总Larry Livermore的推广，Green Day乐队已经成为了加州地下的名角。1991年，Green Day乐队还发行了乐队首张专辑《1… ,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hour》，但是在这张专辑发行之后，Green Day乐队就遭遇了人员动荡，Al Sobrante离队，Tre Cool替代了他的鼓手位置。乐队阵容从此稳定了下来，Tre Cool原名Frank Edwin Wright，贝司手Mike Dirnt原名Mike Pritchard。不过此后一段时间Green Day一直没有太大突破，直到1992年发行了专辑《Kerplunk》，这张专辑在加州地下乐坛反响颇佳引起了主流唱片公司的关注，Reprise公司最终和他们签约。

加盟Reprise公司之后，1994年初，Green Day乐队发行了第三张专辑，也是他们主流公司的首张专辑《Dookie》。由于单曲《Longview》和第二支单曲《Basket Case》的连续推动，这张专辑成为了整个1994年的一个现象，两首单曲全部都成为了现代摇滚单曲榜的冠军，而此后在大名鼎鼎的Woodstock音乐节上的精彩演出，以及第三首冠军单曲《When I Come Around》推出之后，Green Day乐队的这张《Dookie》风靡美国，继而蔓延全球。三首冠军单曲统治现代摇滚单曲榜冠军累计十多周的时间，专辑的销量节节攀升，这张曾经雄踞 Billboard 200排行榜亚军的专辑最终在美国地区取得了超过800万张的销量，全球销量超过千万张，并且为他们带来了1994年度第37届格莱美奖最佳另类音乐表演奖。《Dookie》的畅销让朋克音乐锋芒毕露，重新成为了后Grunge时代摇滚乐领域重要的组成部分，而Green Day被认为是美国流行乐坛朋克复兴时期的先锋，成为了美国朋克复兴乐队中最主要的代表之一，影响了后来一系列流行朋克乐队。

在《Dookie》的辉煌过后不久，1995年Green Day乐队发行了第四张专辑《Insomniac》，这张专辑发行后也站在了Billboard 200排行榜亚军，并且也有单曲《J.A.R.》成为现代摇滚单曲榜冠军，到1996年的时候这张专辑的总销量却没能超越《Dookie》，总销量只有 200万张。此后疲惫的Green Day乐队取消了欧洲巡演，休养并录制了第五张专辑《Nimrod》并于1997年发行，这张专辑在排行榜上只名列第十位。此后经过了长达三年的等待之后，2000年发行了第六张专辑，也是他们在主流唱片公司的第四张专辑《Warning》，这张专辑这张专辑在发行之后以15万6千张的销量名列排行榜的第四位，销量再次突破百万张。
