乔治·格什温（George Gershwin，1898年9月26日－1937年7月11日）是一位美国作曲家。出生于纽约布鲁克林的一个俄国犹太移民家庭，原名雅各布·格肖维茨（Jacob Gershowitz）。格什温的贡献是把古典音乐的风格与爵士乐和布鲁斯的风格结合了起来。格什温1937年夏因患脑癌去世，去世时三十九岁。

stravinsky and gershwin are similar - they both composed in the same era. they aren't very similar in their music cause the 20th century music was all bout trying new things and doing things differently.

I love both Gershwin, and Stravinsky, but I still fail to see how Gershwin is similar to Stravinsky. There must be some way in which last.fm can improve upon their similar artist computing.
