Lars Von Trier uses Lascia ch’io pianga - From Rinaldo AMAZINGLY in his new film, Antichrist. So wonderful. [2] I didn't like Händel before I saw that film. All I'd heard were a few slightly pompous concerti grossi, but that aria is one of the most beautiful compositions ever. It goes so well with Anthony Dod Mantle's cinematography.

It's because some orchestra is playing his music somewhere in the known universe, and someone lists him as an artist at the event. For a while, they seemed to be slowly removing it from classical composers' pages (no doubt due to curmudgeons like myself complaining all the time), but they obviously missed one.

because classical tags are always fucked up, there is no definite way of tagging classical pieces, so there are hundreds of different tags floating around. But seriously, what the hell is "Largo" oder "Allegro" for example? I mean, that could be anything!
