I dont care for the new album much either. but I will see them live anyway because they are lots of fun.

The new album is.... kind of meh. The riffs are mostly good, but the drumming, more often than not, is really, really bad. In my opinion, the best example is the song Bionic Astronautics - a killer riff, that gets completely drowned out by a boring, generic drum beat. Scott`s a good drummer on his own, but he`s just not right for the Fu... (yeah, yeah, he did ok on We Must Obey, but come on, just listen to "King of The Road" and tell me that`s not the REAL Fu-sound!) They REALLY need to somehow rope Brant Bjork back into playing with them! Anyway, i`ll still listen to the album some more, but i was really hoping for something more from these guys. The title song, Signs of Infinite Power, is pretty good though :3
