It's clear you do not understand it- and YES, that is a valid statement. Being normal is also no reason to hate it. I saw The Limits of Control recently, and I have to say, it was a good movie. It seemed to me like a big drone song, as in, with small elements repeating and changing over time, until the end, but overall having a monotonous, yet entrancing atmosphere (due mostly to the great photography work and obviously, the soundtrack). It's not for everyone though, I'm used to movies like those but I don't think everyone would enjoy it due to its slow pace and rather sparse dialogs, but it's all good. Boris had more presence in the movie than Earth and Sunn O))) though.

I don't think Hex sounds like it, though. Both rely heavily on reverb-drenched guitars and sound like they would be good soundtracks to Westerns, but I think the drums are an incredibly important part of Hex, and really differentiates it from Dead Man. I like Hex a lot more than Dead Man because I find it far more atmospheric, but maybe my perception would be different if I'd seen the film.

Earth don't sound like the Dead Man score in general - the album Hex does, however. There's a wildly different approach of course, but anybody familiar with both albums and the film would have to agree that Hex hits on the same pleasure points as Young's work...
