Многие охаивают клубы на подобии "Плана Б", но после гибели всеми любимой "Точки", заведений с небольшой площадью почти не осталось. А куда еще привезти двух уважаемых людей, которые приехали с "бардовской" программой?
Клуб для таких целей подошел идеально. Звук не был слишком требователен к аппаратуре. Людей тоже собралось в ту меру заполняемости, что предполагает клуб.
Концерт был построен следующим образом. Сначала Данни исполнил программу из собственных песен (то бишь Anathema) Deep, Forgotten Hopes, Destiny Is Dead, Lost Control, Electricity, Dreaming Light, Are You There? , Fragile Dreams, песню из репертуара Fleetwood Mac - Big Love и конечно же Pink Floyd - High Hopes.

Anneke van Giersbergen & Danny Cavanagh - In Parallel

This semi-acoustic live album is the result of a unique cooperation between the amazing singer Anneke van Giersbergen of Agua de Annique and the very talented musician and singer Danny Cavanagh of i.a. Anathema and Leafblade. They knew each other for over 10 years before they started working together and did their first duo live show in Tilburg in the Netherlands on the 2nd of January in 2008. After a small tour together in Scandinavia, they returned to the Netherlands and recorded the songs on this album during two shows in Tilburg in March 2009. And the result is a very special, unique and beautiful album. I am very glad I bought it from Anneke's webshop in November / December of 2010 and even more because also this one is signed by Anneke! The album consists of songs written by Anneke van Giersbergen, mostly from her solo career, but also one old song from The Gathering. …

Heather Small reflects on the sad loss of singer Whitney Houston who died on 11th February 2012:

M People singer Heather Small told BBC News: “She was great, and definitely an icon and a diva in the true sense of the word."

“She was able to take any song and make it her own.”

Referring to Houston's signature song, I Will Always Love You, she said: “It's not that you take anything away from Dolly Parton because she wrote the song, but something that was so different, she (Houston) made it her own, because it was originally a country song."

“She just made it into this really big, big ballad, a very soulful ballad.”

Comparing Houston to Aretha Franklin and Billy Holliday, Small added: “For an artist to be able to relay something in their music, there is sometimes a pain or a feeling so deep that it can only come up musically.”

Last night the music world lost another of its true icons in Whitney Houston. Seemingly destined for stardom from the moment Aretha Franklin was appointed her godmother, Houston is known as one of the greatest vocalists of all time, a mezzo-soprano with a four octave range, and holds the record for longest running number one single in the UK for a female artist.
