Yep, that is the case Two Snakes. I say with no hesitation that Divinyls, at full throttle were as good a rock and roll band going around anywhere in the world, let alone Australia.

Chrissy and Mark put an end to their brief hiatus a couple of years ago. Once they were hungry and desperate and had a unique rock edge that no one else had but that is no longer and they live different lives on oposite sides of the globe. I chatted to Mark recently and he said the band had great material but it just didn't happen this time around after a national tour and a promo single. Knowing the history I wouldn't completely rule out another release, anything is possible but just not probable. As John Lennon said "you got all the records there is ya want to reminisce, y'know"

I remember hearing "Science Fiction" a lot on the radio, back in 1983 (in Houston, Texas, even), which prompted me to buy Desperate shortly after it reached the record stores, and that was nearly a decade before "I Touch Myself". <- Hmmm... no, I... well, hmmm... okay, I'll just leave it like that.
