Stackboy: I would suggest Whatever You Love, You Are, Dirty Three, or Sad & Dangerous first. In all honesty, I don't feel any of their works are a poor example of this band's quality; nor particularly challenging to get into. If you like this brand of music, all of their albums are pretty accessible.

i was all kinds of pissed off when laneway announced d3 were playing at the melbourne laneway only. so it's kinda VERY cool that they are apparently coming to perth for the international arts festival. HELL YES!

Dirty Three are said to be playing at next year's St. Jerome's Laneway Festival and it could be assumed that they will play another show too..waiting for news about that, though. Most likely the tour and laneway will coincide as a part of one trip home.
