Deströyer 666 are an Australian metal band formed in 1994 by guitarist K.K. Warslut, following his departure from the cult black metal band Bestial Warlust. The project at first was solo but soon picked up other band members. Their sound can be described as a blend between black,death metal, and thrash metal although in recent releases, the band’s death metal edge has become more prominent. For example, the album Unchain the Wolves, considered to be their finest by many fans, has a less head-on and aggressive sound than later albums such as Cold Steel… for an Iron Age, which uses a more bombastic and hard-hitting tone. Usual lyrics themes consist of War, Satan, Anti-Christianity, and so on.

Defiance is really something that I call a masterpiece. Cold Steel... For An Iron Age is straightforward blackthrash at it's best and I love the album, Phoenix Rising has little more dimensions, and it's really awesome...But Defiance has even more new dimensions and is really fuckin' awesome album that I just can't stop listening. I still need to buy Unchain The Wolves which is great, if the whole album is full of awesome songs like Australian And Anti-Christ or Satan's Hammer. But, DEFIANCE IS A MASTERPIECE, that's what I came here to say. :P
