лол. сравнивая по тяжести самые экстремальные формы метала (грайндкор какой-нибудь) и постиндастриала (хоть террорЕВМ) понимаешь, что металу далеко в плане напора, ненависти и тяжести. факт. лол. и это если не брать Distorted Beat Music и Power Electronics. Там просто мозг в кашу сразу же.

personally I cant wait for new material. at the begining i was very scepitcal - now i think those guys will serve us a good portion of great music. Although I knew they'll play metal-like music i was disapointed when i heard their new stuff for first time. Now i like it even more than their primitive dark electro. I cant wait to hear new version of "torture device" !

Besides, it has nothing to do with being hard, it has to do with actually being talented and not just screaming. Industrial can be just as dark. Now I'm not saying ALL metal sucks, but...well I evolved FROM metal into industrial, not fucking backwards.

I'm not surprise, good bands don't last forever, in the end they end up splitting up or selling out. As for the new songs those are really terrible sound like deathcore with the exception of "Carnal Consummation of empty space" a decent song.

without the electro beats i can't help but yawn as you join the rest of the boring 'black metal' bands out there trying to recapture the 80s and 90s. Using Bathory as a last name does not make you Quarthorn. best of luck chaps..

Q: Why are you going Metal, we like the older sound more? A: Unfortunately, The band has always been more into Metal. There is a way bigger market in the Metal scene, than the Industrial scene. The band always looks at what benefits their career and what direction is going to further their career. The Industrial scene isn't doing much for them and the record labels only provide minimum support for their bands. Thousands and thousands of fans contact Dawn of Ashes daily asking about future tours. Well, if there is no financial support than there is no tour. They are tired of making dance music and feel they have way more talent on the table to show their fans. One factor that the band always needs is brutality and Metal has always been more brutal than electronic music. Industrial concerts are tame compared to Metal events. Basically, there is more to offer for Dawn of Ashes with this new direction instead of hoping that the Industrial scene would get bigger.
