"Giving" is pretty sweet - gotta love it. No need to compare it to "Birds", because "Birds" is a ridiculously overpowered composition of songs. But their new label Hometape is just as awesome! I got the album on the 4th day after ordering. All the way from Portland to Sweden.
Wait, am I missing something here? Just listened to "Lawn" and "Birds" and it sounds like run-of-the-mill postrock with some mathrock thrown in. Certainly enjoyable, but I wouldn't say it's overly 'refreshing' or 'meaningless to classification'. I'd say it fits in nicely within the postrock subgenre.
