Second Stage is a completely different to the Good Apollos... so that'll be why you don't like it. It's all raw and punchy. I think In Keeping is a transition from that sound they had into the progressiveness that is Good Apollo I & II. Either way the first 2 albums are still my favourite.

Blood Red Summer is one of the my most hated Coheed and Cambria songs. It doesn't have anything going for it. It's so basic song from a band thats considered some parts even prog heavy, and alternative. A lame single. Nothing more.

Personally, the third album is my favourite. Then first, then second, then fourth. But thats my personal opinion. I think the sound of the first album is very different from the third, but both appeal to me.
