who tagged the australian band with "dreampop"?! did you ever see these people LIVE? they fucking ROCKED OUT! aside from seeing almost every gig in sydney, i had the amazing good fortune to catch jodi and trish in melbourne about 6 or 7 years ago as the briefly-re-formed 'the girls from the clouds', where they performed some beautifully stripped-down versions of the old band's numbers, but they still totally rocked out , there was nothing dreamy about it. perhaps a touch of shoe-gaze, maybe, but 95% good, pure, sweet, indie pop/ rock, from when indie actually meant independent, not the commercialized crap that passes for "indie" these days *laugh - yeah, grumpy old bastard syndrome kicking in*
