when I started listening to BYD, I sampled Mat Bruso BYD and Myke Terry BYD. I thought I liked both of them. But when I sat down and listened to "Beauty and the Breakdown" then "It's Nothing Personal" I saw how wrong I was. Mat Bruso was a much better lead singer, not to mention his lyrics are much better. Not to mention I loved the whole concept behind "Beauty." Cover Your Tracks is also an awesome CD, much better than "It's Nothing Personal."

i wish they would stop trying to sing pretty songs to 16 year old girls. this is a good example of how a hardcore band can turn pop. they do still have good songs but it just isnt the same. i want mat back!!!

I liked the old stuff and singer and they were awesome live, but since Myke joined the band, they have gotten much better musically. Before they were just meat and potatoes.
