There sound is so refreshing and invigorating, containing both brutality and atmosphere (reminds me of 80's thrash if that makes sense) but still catchy and memorable. Whats keeping these guys from hitting the top of the modern death metal foodchain?

Damn, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition is one of my all time favorite bands, and I completely forgot them... But yeah, there's loads of other great bands from there, basically, French metal is awesome. Still no new news on the new Benighted album last time I checked, still just in the process of writing or something.

...and top-notchers like Yyrkoon and Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition too! And countless of other great french metal bands, who don't always take the most obvious route with their music. One just has to appreciate the scene right there. So, what's happening at Benighted's camp? Are they really preparing a new album? Next one should definitely be THE shitty album, since they can't possibly make so many outstanding albums in a row, but they'll propably pull it off just fine this time too. Bastards :)
